May be of help if you encounter this error message pop-up with Windows 10 during the restart, shutdown or sign out, if an error message pops up:
In Event Viewer/Windows Logs/System there is an error message:
'Application pop-up: cscript.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.'

How I solved this issue?
The reason for this error message pop-up during shutdown, reboot or sign-out, was an older installation of the Free Download Manager. After installing the latest version everything is fine.
